Minty the Bird needs a home

Minty (we believe ) is a male Green Cheek Conure who was given to us by his caretaker that couldn't take care of him any longer due to her busy schedule and other pets. Minty has shown to be a social and sweet Conure in his foster home, with a variety of peeps, words and whistles. When he's in a good mood, he will sit under your chin and bow his head for a head and beak scratch and say his name repeatedly when you ask who's a good boy. So far Minty has seemed to prefer females over males, but has nipped both due to not being totally hand tame and needing training. Minty has a very large cage and loves to hang inside or outside, where he enjoys a mix of seeds and pellets. Minty will taste any food, but has only eaten apples and strawberries so far. Overall, Minty would be a perfect addition to a single owner who already has pets (he is very social), no children, and only an EXPERIENCED owner who can give him lots of attention and the training he needs.
